Ha ha, you peeps thought I just became a father.  No.  But my beautiful bundle of joy aka Wacom Tablet arrived this week.  I now have an absolutely beautiful Cintiq 12WX that I love to pieces. It's really amazing.  I've played with it once so far and really enjoyed it.  I still need to calibrate the thing so that way stuff doesn't appear so stretched.  (Everything comes out a little stretched right now.  I'll be using it more in the future.  Hopefully for future art projects.)  So I'll upload pictures and other things when I get the chance. Hey everybody.  I added some fanart today of Marcus McCloud.  I tried a different shading technique to make Marcus' boots more metallic.  It came out okay.  I think I should look at some other works to get better ideas on how to give his boots a metallic look. I also have a request for you all to be on the lookout for photoshop tutorials.  Especially painting ones.  I know a Wacom tablet helps (and I'm saving $$ for one) but if anyone knows of any good tutorials for vectors or anything like that please let me know as I will be entering into that arena soon enough. I just realized I can use this journal to express thoughts and include updates in my profile.  ^^  Huzzah!  I can't wait to get some real art in my gallery.  Of course, I see some of the artists here put stuff in their gallery that I would put in my scraps... maybe I'm too hard on myself. *Shrugs*  Anywho, scraps are wonderful fun so look through those for now.
